Thermo Fraké offers a 100% natural option for cladding, making it a beautiful choice for your facade. The wood has excellent insulating properties, is resistant to mold and wood rot, and remains very dimensionally stable. This makes it ideal for open cladding or slats. In addition, Thermo Fraké is suitable for cladding storage areas, noise barriers and other walls. With its high durability and stability, it can be used untreated as facade cladding without any problems. Over time, the wood takes on a beautiful light gray appearance due to natural ageing. There are also various stain systems available in different colors and shades for additional options. Thanks to the thermal modification process, Thermo Fraké has an impressive durability class 1-2, with a life expectancy of at least 25 years.

Thermo Fraké meets the requirements of Euroclass D-s2, d0 according to NEN-EN 14915, and can be used as both closed and open facade cladding. With special fire-retardant treatment, it can also be used in fire class B-s2, d0. For more information about the fire class, please consult our CE marking page. We also offer various profiles, including the Bern profile and the Paris profile, that fit perfectly with your facade project.
Oiled or stained Thermo Fraké cladding retains its color longer, reduces small cracks, improves stability and significantly extends its lifespan. We always recommend using an oiled or stained finish for facade cladding for optimal protection and aesthetics.
