From Iroko window frames to facade cladding
With a beautiful butter yellow to brown yellow color and graying effects that take a wooden facade to a higher level, Iroko is a favorite among professionals. Iroko wood is known for its excellent strength, durability and minimal impact. These properties make it suitable for a wide range of applications, both indoors and outdoors. This includes window frames, windows, doors, wooden cladding, interior panelling, stairs, steps, furniture, body and wagon construction, and more. With its vague resemblance to Teak, Iroko is also called “African Teak”, but this name can be misleading due to its durability class. The freshly sawn heartwood has a beautiful butter yellow to brown yellow color, sometimes with dark zones. The light-colored sapwood forms a clear contrast with the heartwood and is 50 to 100 mm wide. A remarkable feature of Iroko is the even graying process, which ensures a breathtaking end result for wooden facades.
