Accoya® Color, natural ageing
Accoya® Color wood is obtained through acetylation, a modification process in which the cell walls of the wood are “blocked” against moisture ingress, carbon is added for the natural gray color. This makes Accoya® exceptionally dimensionally stable and indigestible to fungi and other wood destroyers. It retains its structural strength after modification, making it suitable for decking and facade cladding, for example. No wood-foreign or toxic substances are added, making Accoya® wood 100% “clean”. Accoya® Color has a coarse appearance with visible knots and wood grains, which gives it an attractive character. Stylish gray wood cladding can brighten up any home and bring the outdoors inside. Outdoors, your siding should be able to withstand a variety of elements and remain looking as fresh as the day it was installed.
