Hanoi profile
The Hanoi profile, also known as half-timber rabbet, is the ideal choice for horizontal facade cladding. This profile is characterized by semi-overlapping profiles with a subtle visible curve. The tongue-and-groove mounting is not visible, allowing for a seamless and easy installation. The Hanoi profile is particularly popular because of its easy installation. It is widely used in homes, sheds and garden sheds. The profile is also known as “double lips”. Boogaerdt Hout offers two standard sizes, but other widths are also available on request. When installing the Hanoi profile, also called half-timber rabat, it is important to pay attention to the correct installation method and drainage. Vertical installation is possible, but not recommended. The channel siding profile is recommended for vertical facade cladding. When installing, ensure ventilation slats with a centre-to-centre distance of 40 to 60 mm, depending on the type of wood.
