FSC®-Recycled

Waterwood's wood has the FSC®-Recycled label. Our wood consists mainly of hardwood from old lock gates, mooring posts and sheet piling. This is hardwood with an excellent quality for many different applications. After treatment and processing, as well as careful documentation by CityPort of Utrecht and us, the wooden product receives a label.

SROI

With Social Return On Investment (SROI) we contribute to the creation of employment for people who are distanced from the labour market. SROI is not only an opportunity, but also an obligation for companies that participate in tenders. Because we work intensively with social workshops, a large part of our products is certified with the SROI label. This collaboration also enables us to offer people who have difficulty accessing the labour market a chance at a meaningful job.
